Water-based coatings, such as certain stains and lacquers, can be dried using airflow, heat, and/or infrared radiation. Drying tunnels are designed to accelerate this process.
The type of coating and layer thickness determine the optimal settings for temperature, airspeed/airflow direction, and the intensity of infrared radiation required for efficient drying.
